Steps to Check Referral Status

Access the Customers section

Navigate to the Customers tab in the platform.

Find the new customer (referee)

Use their name, email, customer ID, or share link to search. Click the customer’s profile to open their account.

Review key areas in their profile

Activity Timeline

View the customer’s actions in chronological order, from oldest to most recent. This includes shared offers, referral enrolments, and whether rewards have been issued.

Confirm a Purchase

Use the Actions menu to confirm whether the customer has completed a qualifying purchase. If you see the “Confirm purchase” button, Mention Me has not detected a purchase. This may happen if the purchase email differs from the share/sign-up email. If you’re confident the email is correct, it could be a data mismatch. Contact the Tech Ops team to investigate further.

Approvals

There are two common approval prompts:
  • Reward Approval: Normally handled automatically. You can manually approve within the Rewards tab if necessary
  • Gaming Suspicions: Always requires manual approval. This happens if the system detects unusual or suspicious activity. Review the denial reason carefully to decide whether to approve. See How to Approve or Decline Referral Suspects for guidance

Can’t Find the Customer?

If the customer doesn’t appear in your search:
