Reward codes not working
Mention Me’s role is limited to distributing the referral codes your team creates. Mention Me does not set up, configure, or manage how codes work on your website. If a customer’s code isn’t working, check the following:- Terms and conditions — Make sure the purchase meets the offer’s requirements.
- Promotion stacking — Confirm the customer isn’t combining the code with another promotion.
- Extra spaces — Check there are no spaces before or after the code when entered.
Customer has not received their reward
There are several reasons a referrer might not receive their reward after a friend makes a purchase.Scenario 1: Accounts not linked
The referee didn’t follow the referral link or enter the referrer’s name correctly. You’ll need to connect their accounts manually. Before linking accounts:- Check the referrer has an active account on the platform. If not, manually register or enrol the referrer.
- Collect the referee’s name and email from the referrer.
- If the details match, link the accounts using the “add friend” feature to issue rewards.
