A new campaign stays a draft until you launch its first version. Launching that first version takes the whole campaign live in one step. To take a live campaign offline again, pause it.
The first step, Before you launch, lists optional improvements. These are recommendations only, never blockers. Click Continue.

Choose Standard or Promotion (If Shown)
If the campaign already has a live version, a Schedule step lets you choose how this version runs:
Standard version. Runs indefinitely until replaced.
Time-limited promotion. Runs only between the dates you set.
If you choose promotion, set the start, end and last-referee-purchase dates, then continue.
3
Choose How to Launch
The final step, Launch options, offers the options that apply to your campaign’s current state:
Launch now. Starts serving customers immediately. Shown when nothing is live yet.
Replace live version. Goes live immediately and replaces the current live version, cancelling any queued versions.
Queue after live version. Schedules this version to start when the current live version ends.
Queue behind upcoming. Schedules this version behind another already-queued version.
Schedule launch. For a promotion with a future start date. Customers keep seeing the current version until then.
Each option has a Show schedule toggle that previews a before-and-after timeline of your live and queued versions, so you can see exactly how the launch order will change before you commit.

Optional: Keep Promoting After a Promotion Ends
When you schedule a promotion to start on a future date after a standard live version, you can resume that live version once the promotion ends. Tick Continue with “[live version]” after this ends and Mention Me queues a copy of the current live version to start again when the promotion finishes, so the campaign keeps promoting.
5
Confirm
Click the confirm button for your chosen option (for example Launch, Run this immediately, or Schedule launch). A confirmation appears and you land on the live or queued version.
While a promotion is live, an Extend promotion button appears in the editor. Use it to push the end date and last-referee-purchase date further out without creating a new version.
If a version has unresolved errors, the wizard shows Not ready to launch and lists the issues grouped by step, each with a Fix link that jumps straight to the section. Resolve every issue, then launch again.
You also cannot launch while your account is still onboarding. The Launch button is disabled with the message “Launching is unavailable until you switch to production.” For the full list of blockers and notices, see troubleshooting.
