How to install the Mention Me theme app extension to add a Share button on your Shopify product pages.
This guide walks through installing the Mention Me theme app extension to add a Share button on your Shopify product pages so customers can recommend products to each other.
The block is not enough on its own. Product referral also needs a live product referral campaign for the language of the store. The Share button only appears, and shares are only tracked, while a campaign is live for that language.Using the Mention Me dashboard? Set the campaign up yourself: see set up a campaign. On Classic, ask your Mention Me contact to confirm one is in place.
Once the block is configured and a product referral campaign is live for that language, the Share Link appears and Mention Me starts tracking product shares. View collected data on the dashboard.
