# Promote on Dashboard

> Integrate a referral dashboard into your My Account area to promote sharing and let customers track their referrals.

## When to Widen Promotion

Typically, we look to widen promotion 6 weeks from going live. This allows time to drive volume through your referral channel and to start running experiments that optimise performance.

## Referral Dashboard in the My Account Area

If you have a "My Account" area or similar behind a login on your website, you can integrate an additional tag to further promote your scheme and let logged-in customers track their referrals and send additional invites.

## Two Main Purposes

1. **Show your referral offer** to logged-in customers who haven't yet enrolled in your referral programme (i.e. haven't purchased and seen the referral overlay on your post-purchase page)
2. **Let enrolled customers** track the progress of their referrals and send additional referral invites to friends

## Implementation

This should be a much quicker integration as there's only one mandatory parameter in the JavaScript snippet: `situation=dashboard`.
