# Browser, Email Client & Device Support

> Supported browsers, email clients, devices, and TLS protocols for the Mention Me dashboard and end-user referral experience.

Mention Me supports a wide range of browsers and devices, and routinely tests the experience across them. The support matrix below applies to both the **Mention Me dashboard** (used by your team) and the **end-user referral experience** (seen by your customers).

## Recommended Browsers

For the best experience, use any of the following:

* Chrome (latest version)
* Firefox (latest version)
* Edge (latest version)
* Safari (latest version)

If you are using an outdated browser, you can upgrade it at [browsehappy.com](https://www.browsehappy.com/).

## Supported Browsers

The following browsers are supported across desktop and mobile:

| Chrome         | Last 2 versions           |
| Firefox        | Last 2 versions           |
| Safari         | 15 and later              |
| Microsoft Edge | 90 and later              |

Other browsers and older versions may work, but functionality may not be optimal.

  The **dashboard** is optimised for desktop use. While it can be accessed on mobile browsers, some admin features may have limited usability on smaller screens.

## Email Client Support

Mention Me supports all major web-based email providers, including Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook, as well as most applications including mobile versions of Gmail, Outlook, and device-specific providers such as Apple Mail.

Old versions of Outlook that use the Microsoft Word rendering engine (Microsoft Outlook 2007-2019) are **not supported**. Usage of these clients is very low and they require disproportionate levels of support.

## TLS Protocols

In line with security best practices, Mention Me uses secure encryption protocols. Browsers or email clients that do not support the following will be unable to view Mention Me pages:

* TLS v1.2
* TLS v1.3
