This page covers problems you hit inside a campaign: on sections, when launching, and when editing. For what you see on the campaigns list (health pills and the Actions card), see [browsing troubleshooting](/knowledge-v2/referral/campaigns/browse/troubleshooting). ## Where Notices Appear * **Section pills**. An issue-count pill on a section (for example **1 issue**), red for errors, amber for warnings. * **Editor banner**. A summary above the canvas grouping issues as "Need attention" (blocking) and "Recommendations" (optional). * **Builder banners**. Full-width notices at the top of the editor: a campaign with no running version, a promotion missing its follow-on, and a paused campaign (with a **Resume** button). See [campaign-level notices](#campaign-level-notices) below. * **Launch wizard**. The **Not ready to launch** step lists everything blocking a launch. ## Errors That Block a Launch These must be fixed before a version can go live. In the launch wizard they appear under **Not ready to launch**, grouped by step, each with a **Fix** link that jumps to the section. | Notice | What it means and what to do | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | "The referrer reward has no way to be fulfilled. Please add more vouchers." | The referrer reward has no fulfilment method or no codes. Check the Rewards section and add a fulfilment method or upload vouchers. | | "The referee's reward has no way to be fulfilled. Please add more vouchers." | As above, for the referee reward. | | "The referrer reward has no remaining vouchers." / "The referee's reward has no remaining vouchers." | The assigned voucher batch is empty. Upload more codes on the Rewards section's Vouchers tab. | | "The A/B test variants are identical. Differentiate them to run a meaningful A/B test." | Both variants are the same. Edit the non-control variant so they differ. | | "This A/B test is missing required settings. Set the test metric and what happens on each outcome." | The A/B test wizard wasn't completed. Reopen it via **Adjust test settings** and finish the metric and outcome steps. | | "This offer type isn't available on your current package." | The offer type needs a different package. Contact your Mention Me account manager. | | "This version was setup incorrectly, create a new experiment instead." | The version is in a bad state. Create a fresh version. | | "This campaign has no triggering rules yet, so it will show to all customers. Restrict it to a specific segment of your customer base only." | Blocks the first launch of a new campaign. Add triggering rules on the Trigger section to target a segment. Once a campaign is live this no longer blocks launching new versions, and appears as a warning instead. | ## Warnings and Recommendations These do not block a launch. They appear in the **Before you launch** step ("These are optional improvements") and as builder banners. | Notice | What it means and what to do | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | "This campaign has received very few impressions. Check that your integration is set up correctly." | Little or no traffic is reaching the campaign. Check your tag or integration. | | "This campaign is running low on voucher codes." / "Vouchers in this campaign are expiring soon." | Top up or refresh the voucher batch on the Rewards section. | | "The referrer reward vouchers are running low." / "The referee's reward vouchers are running low." | The assigned batch is near empty. Upload more codes. | | "This promotion should have a follow-on queued to catch anyone who purchases after it ends." | Queue a follow-on version so referrals are not interrupted when the promotion ends. Add one so referrals aren't interrupted." | As above, for a standard version. | | "This A/B test has concluded. Review the results and consider starting a new one to keep optimising." | The test is done. See [monitor an A/B test](/knowledge-v2/referral/campaigns/ab-testing/monitor-an-ab-test). | | "You're not running an A/B test. Create one to keep optimising your programme." | A prompt to test. See [set up an A/B test](/knowledge-v2/referral/campaigns/ab-testing/set-up-an-ab-test). | ## Campaign-Level Notices These show as a banner at the top of the editor on every version. They also appear on the campaigns list and home page. | Notice | What it means and what to do | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | "This campaign is paused, so it is not being promoted to new customers. Existing customers' share links keep working and their friends can still sign up to the referral offer." | The campaign is paused. Click **Resume** on the banner, or use **Settings > Resume campaign**. See [pause or resume a campaign](/knowledge-v2/referral/campaigns/common-tasks/pause-or-resume-a-campaign). | | "This campaign has no actively running version, so it is not being promoted to your customers. Launch a version to resume." | The campaign is live or paused but no version is currently within its live window, so nothing is being promoted. Launch a version. See [launch a campaign and version](/knowledge-v2/referral/campaigns/manage/launch-a-version). | ## "I can't edit this version" Most often this is expected. A version is only fully editable while it is a draft of a campaign that has not yet launched. Live, queued and past versions are read-only, and the A/B test control variant is locked. The Trigger section is campaign-scoped and is edited on the live version, not a draft. For the full rules and the exact messages, see [what you can and can't edit](/knowledge-v2/referral/campaigns/manage/the-campaign-editor#what-you-can-and-cannot-edit). ## "Launch is disabled" If the Launch button is disabled with "Launching is unavailable until you switch to production", your account is still in onboarding. Voucher management is blocked the same way until you switch to production. Speak to your Mention Me contact to move to production. ## Still Stuck?
