# How to Turn Off a Customer's Emails

> Unsubscribe a customer from every Mention Me email without affecting your own marketing.

When a customer no longer wants referral-related emails, unsubscribe them from the profile. This stops registration, reminder, **and reward fulfilment** emails from Mention Me. It does not affect any emails your own systems send.

  Unsubscribing also stops reward fulfilment emails. If the customer is mid-referral, fulfil any open rewards manually before turning emails off.

## Steps

  <Step title="Open the profile">
    Find the customer in the [Customers list](/knowledge-v2/customers/browse/customer-list) and open their profile.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the actions menu">
    Click **…** next to **Enrol in campaign**.

  <Step title="Choose Unsubscribe from emails">
    The **Receiving emails** field in the side panel switches to **No**.

## Re-Enable Emails

Repeat the same steps. When emails are off, the action label flips to **Resubscribe to emails**. Click it to turn emails back on.
