> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.mention-me.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Understanding Shopify-Managed Rewards > Let Mention Me create the Shopify discount for a reward, including store, product scope, stacking, and customer eligibility. **Early access.** Shopify-managed rewards are available when the Shopify-managed reward feature is on for your account. If the Rewards section only offers a discount that already exists in Shopify, this is not on yet. A Shopify-managed reward is a referral reward whose discount Mention Me creates in your connected store. You configure it on the campaign's [Rewards](/knowledge-app/referral/campaigns/brand-referral/rewards) section, not on the Integrations directory. Shopify discount settings with store, specific collections, and eligibility This is different from **Managed in Shopify**, where you pre-create the discount in Shopify Admin and Mention Me issues codes for it. See the [Shopify fulfilment guide](/knowledge/referral/offers/shopify-fulfilment) for that Classic path. ## What You Can Set Once a store is connected and has discount-write permission, the Shopify-managed fields include: * **Store.** Which connected shop Mention Me creates the discount on. Only shops with the Mention Me app installed and discount permissions appear. * **Item scope.** All products, specific collections, or specific products. * **Combines with.** Whether the discount can stack with order, product, or shipping discounts. * **Customer eligibility.** All customers, new customers only, or specific Shopify customer segments. * **Purchase type.** One-time purchase only (the default), subscription orders, or both. Set this to include subscription when the discount also needs to work on a recurring order, for example when [Recharge](/knowledge-app/integrations/reward-automation/recharge) is connected. * **Code format.** Prefix and random code, or a personalised template. The other fields wait until a store is selected, because collections, products, and segments belong to that shop. ## Before You Use It * The store is [connected](/knowledge-app/integrations/shopify/connect) * The Mention Me app on that store has permission to write discounts * You are editing a **draft** version. Live versions lock the Rewards section If no store appears in the picker, reconnect Shopify and check the app's discount permission in Shopify Admin. ## How It Fits Fulfilment On the Rewards section, fulfilment can be a coupon you upload, a webhook, or Shopify. Shopify-managed rewards are the Shopify option where Mention Me owns the discount record. Use them when you want the code, scope, and eligibility to stay in Mention Me rather than in a discount you maintain by hand in Shopify.
