# How to Complete the Setup Wizard

> Finish the three pre-dashboard steps so you can open the Onboarding Hub.

The **Setup Wizard** runs once after you sign up, before you reach the dashboard. It is not the [Onboarding Hub](/knowledge-app/onboarding/overview). The wizard collects your business details, your **tracking integration method**, and a first pass at your brand. Installing tags, drafting a campaign, and launching happen later on the hub.

The sidebar lists three steps: **Your business**, **Connect your site**, and **Your brand**.

    Go to <a href="https://app.mention-me.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">app.mention-me.com</a> and create an account with your work email.

    The first screen is **Welcome**. Click **Start** to open the wizard.

  <Step title="Your Business">
    Enter your **Company name** and **Website URL**, then click **Continue**.

    Mention Me may already have found your business from your email. If the details are right, click **That's us**. If not, click **Not your business? Enter manually**.

    Next, tell Mention Me about you and the company: industry, company size, and your role. Some fields may already be filled in. Click **Continue**.

    This step creates your **workspace**.

  <Step title="Connect Your Site">
    Choose how Mention Me lives on your site. This is your **tracking integration method**. It is saved on the workspace and changes the copy you see later, including [Set up tracking](/knowledge-app/onboarding/set-up-tracking).

    | Method                 | Best when                                             |
    | ---------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
    | **Shopify**            | You run on Shopify and can install the Mention Me app |
    | **Google Tag Manager** | You already manage tags in GTM                        |
    | **JavaScript Tag**     | You can paste snippets into your site                 |
    | **Mention Me API**     | You want a server-side integration                    |

    Click **Continue**. For Shopify, Mention Me may detect your store and offer to install the app now. For the other methods, the wizard saves your choice. You install tags later from the Onboarding Hub.

    To skip this for now, click **Connect later**. You can pick a method on [Set up tracking](/knowledge-app/onboarding/set-up-tracking).

  <Step title="Your Brand">
    Mention Me scans your site for colours, visual style and tone of voice. You review and edit these later on [Configure branding](/knowledge-app/onboarding/configure-branding). You do not set them in the wizard.

    Wait until **Finish** is enabled, then click it. Mention Me opens the Onboarding Hub.

## Tracking Integration Methods

The wizard records the method. The hub is where you complete the install, except for Shopify, which can connect during the wizard.

    If Mention Me detects Shopify, or you pick it, click **Install**. Approve the app in your Shopify admin, then return to the wizard. Mention Me continues from where you left off.

    The wizard saves Google Tag Manager as your method. You import the Mention Me GTM template and add tags from [Set up tracking](/knowledge-app/onboarding/set-up-tracking).

    The wizard saves JavaScript Tag as your method. You paste snippets onto the matching pages from [Set up tracking](/knowledge-app/onboarding/set-up-tracking).

    The wizard saves Mention Me API as your method. You send events from your server instead of embedding tags. The hub still has a [Set up tracking](/knowledge-app/onboarding/set-up-tracking) step so you can skip tag checks if your integration does not use tags.
